Roll-ups clarified

Morning all

I just wanted to clarify the situation around oll-ups as there appears to be some misunderstanding in some quarters.

Roll-ups are on aMonday and Friday throughout the season. Roll-ups can commence at both11.00 a.m AND 14.30.

This means that if you cannot make an afternoon session then a morning session is still available for you and vice versa. . It also means that, should you wish, you can do both sessions. Members now have the flexibility to choose which roll up they go to.

An alternative 11.00 a.m. start for roll ups was introduced at members request from the AGM last year and is effective now.

Dress code for roll ups is mufti or ‘relaxed’ BUT no jeans , T shirts or vests.

I hope this now clarifies the situation.

Members must also remember that this is your club, the green is open to you from 11.00 until dusk every day during the season should you wish to practice by yourself or with others. Just book yourselves a rink.

Presidents v Captains Drive – Sunday 28^thApril 14.30

Just a reminder that should you wish to play in this drive to put your names down on the sheet in the clubhouse – we will choose the sides on Friday so that will be a closing date.

A light buffet will be served after the match and ,of course, the bar will be open.
